It says clearly in Scripture that in the end times the Antichrist will come, and he will be in power for a while ... then Jesus will come and ultimately be the victor. So the question is, if this is written, why would the Antichrist even try?
The answer, quite simply, is that all beings are blinded by pride.
This is why we must humble ourselves before we will see Him. Pride drives God away ... it says, "I got this. I don't need God."
We all struggle with pride. But what would we be at all if it weren't for what He GAVE us?
The Antichrist, as well as millions of people, will defy and deny until the very end.
But in the end, every person will bow and confess that Jesus Christ is the King of Kings and the Lord of Lords. What an incredible and comforting Truth.
